Modern and ancient Shanghai!
Our guide Roy told us many interesting detailes of the ancient life of citizens of Shanghai. He walked with us in modern and old streets and introduced us to every corner of chinese history of this city. Our guide Roy answered all of numerious questions in details, he showed us everything that the city can offer to tourists. He also introduced us to local cuisines, that were very tasty and teleported us to the past! With the help of our guide Roy we slowly and peacefully immersed ourselfs into ancient and modern city of Shanghai! Here is a suggested itinerary. We are happy to customize a tour according to your interests and schedule.
Your private guide will be waiting for you in the airport arrivals hall or in your hotel's lobby. A comfortable vehicle (non-smoking) with an experienced driver will be ready for you to explore Shanghai.
First you will visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, where you will discover Shanghai's urban designs, and your guide will introduce Shanghai's past, present, and future.
After lunch, walking along the Bund, you will learn about Shanghai's rise. Your guide will take you into historical buildings where you can touch the old items and he/she will tell you stories about their past.
Wander through the alleyways to get a glimpse of the locals' lifestyles. Your guide will take you to a famous local restaurant to taste Shanghai's most typical snack - xiaolongbao (steamed buns). Learn the proper way to eat one or you will burn your mouth!
Travel like a local as you hop on a public ferry, mingling with the crowds as you cross the Huangpu River and slowly travel from old Shanghai to Shanghai's Pudong New Area.
