Albee Ning with China Highlights never fails to create the perfect vacation!!! She listens and understands what interests us and provides a guided tour that is surreal. Tom from China tours guided us for a hike on the Jiansanling section of The Great Wall and then a one day tour of Beijing including Forbidden City Tiananmen Square and the Summer Palace. He was very friendly and accommodating from the begin. He answered all of our questions about Chinese history and culture and gave great explanations of the history of all the monuments we visited. The restaurants he chose and dishes he recommended were very tasty on both days. I would recommend him very highly to anyone looking for an English language tour in Beijing and particularly for people interested in history.

Firstly we'd like to acknowledge and thank our guide, Tom Xu for his patience, generosity and commitment to making sure our family group of 3 was well cared for and entertained. We had a medical emergency which was handled by Tom.

We recently visited Xian with China Highlights and were assigned our excellent tour guide Lin. She was a delight to spend time with. Very knowledgeable about the city and its surroundings and its history. Always happy and smiling and had great enthusiasm for her job. She has excellent English skills.If you should ever visit Xi’an, I would highly recommend requesting her to be your guide.

Mark was an informative and welcoming guide and Mr Ho was our considerate and helpful driver. Mark made sure we got to see all the historical sights and bustling Muslim Quarter, and gave us great hints and tips for places to eat. China Highlights organised everything for us and it ran like clockwork.

Mark was a wealth of historical information and shared with us so many stories regarding Chinese culture and folklore. Throughout our time with Mark we enjoyed his sense of humour and had many laughs together. He is an exceptional guide and a warm , kind hearted man. With Mark, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves for the entire visit!!!!

My guide Mervyn was amazing, she was very helpful and friendly. She took me to very nice places to eat traditional food and she reserved a place to me to watch an amazing show about Xi’an history.

Our experience was enormously enhanced by our guide, Fifi. Her enthusiasm, passion, and knowledge about the Pandas made the whole experience complete! We definitely enjoyed Chengdu’s food and nightlife. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the Wenshu Monastery with Fifi providing detailed information and history that I found mind inspiring. You know, I had been to many monasteries before…but this was fascinating. We also had fun at the markets! LOL

Special mention to the agility of our bilingual guide Helen of Chengdu City.We just bade farewell to Helen, and have now reached sunny Songpan via high speed train.

Evans (Xiehui) & Jason were great tour guides during our 3 day visit to Leshan, Mt Emei & Chengdu. Evans was very knowledgeable, friendly & helpful & Jason very informative & flexible. Yang our driver was clever enough to navigate the tough Chengdu traffic to get us to places in time.

Ms. Susan was also incredible people who were knowledgeable, warm, welcoming and sharing many interesting insights about life in China and helping to immerse oneself in this expansive country and its friendly and hard working people.

Our guide Lele was great. From helping us check into our Guilin hotel to helping us check in for our flight to Shanghai, Lele was awesome.

Our guide Lele in Guilin was fantastic. Lele was always smiling, polite, helpful and willing to answer our questions. Given that our group know a lot about Chinese history, this probably put a little extra pressure on Lele to answer our questions. Lele was very knowledgeable, and importantly took care of us. The food on the trip was excellent.highly recommend Lele for your Guilin tour.

The tour guide Lele in Guilin was so informative, helpful .Lele was English speaking and was fantastic and very knowledgeable of the culture and history. Our group learned so much from Lele . Lele always punctual, accommodating and made sure we were properly informed about China’s Culture, dos and don’ts to stay safe and provided information of the rules and laws to abide by.

Our tour guide Lele in Guilin was particularly wonderful. Lele’s English was excellent. His knowledge and his ability to discuss all matters relating to China made the trip interesting. Lele was also fun to be with .The drivers of buses when we were travelling by road were also excellent and helpful.

Chonzom was our guide for Tibet for a week. She was very informative and attentive, she understood our needs. I would recommend her to friends in the future.

I had an amazing time in Tibet. It’s an interesting place with breathtaking sights. My guide Lha Dup is a local and experienced at his job, he knows many things about Tibetan culture. He and the driver were very friendly and helpful. They were always worried about my safety and health. I highly recommend everyone to visit Tibet. I am glad to have chosen China Highlights for the trip. They are amazing and take care of everything so I don’t need to be worried about anything in my holidays.

I didn’t know what to expect in Lhasa, but we had a guide - Dorjee with China Highlights - who took us to everything there is to see. He was the best guide! Potala Palace is an amazingly beautiful site, with so much history and culture.

It was a 6-day tour from Lhasa to Mt. Everest. My guide was Choezom, who took care of all the itinerary with kindness. Our tour group was really lucky to see the sunset at Mt. Everest, which was extremely exciting.

We chose Asia Highlights to book a private tour of China, Tibet, Nepal and Bhutan. Alisa at Asia Highlights was exceptional from the start! She answered all of our many pre-trip questions quickly and efficiently.

I had an absolutely incredible experience on my tour in Suzhou, all thanks to our amazing guide (Brenda)! She was knowledgeable, and personable, and went above and beyond to make the entire trip unforgettable. Her insights into the local culture, history, and hidden gems of Suzhou added so much depth to the experience. Whether we were exploring the beautiful gardens or walking through the charming old streets, she brought the city to life with her stories and passion for the area. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an authentic and enriching tour in Suzhou!

Our guide Brenda spoke fluent English. She was wonderful and very knowledgeable. Thanks to her explanations, we had a memorable two-day trip to Suzhou and Tongli water towns.

Our guide, Brenda with China Highlights, really made our experience unforgettable even though we were only there for a short bit of time. Brenda was really knowledgeable and helpful in telling us where to find food nearby the hotel.She took us to the water town of Tongli, and shared so much of its history as well as the history of Suzhou. She also had great conversations with us -- topics ranging from the transformation of Suzhou to how the economy in China.

Ryan from #chinahighlights was my guide beginning in Shanghai when I landed the day before. He had a huge bouquet of flowers from China Highlights company for me when I arrived at the Shanghai airport. Next We went to Humble Administrators Garden which was already inundated with throngs of Chinese Tourists and visitors. It was a super lovely day so I don't blame them for visiting! I was wearing my own Han Fu dress so I felt very much at home because that's what the girls and women do, go to these places for photos! This garden despite all the people was super great. The features and layout including bonsai. Especially Azalea, we're stunning. Clean and neat. Worth your time anyway you cut it. Next was the smaller The Garden of The Master of Nets. Along the way Ryan explained some of the history and features of these places as we went along. Somehow both these gardens merged in my mind! I love Gardens, so I could go to these places daily! Finally, we drove to Tongli Old Town. Another places where girls and women dress up for outings and pictures. I wish I saw more men indulging! Lovely little town, I loved the layout and feeling like I had time travelled. The little boat cruise was jumping again with Chinese visitors and tourists. I really felt happy that they were out enjoying themselves after the recent past.... After the boat Ryan took me to Pingjuang Road, which is mostly a pedestrian street. He mentioned the Film Industry and showed me a monument and street tiles for all the movies that had been made there. A light lunch and walked back out of the area to the parking lot area where we began. A super lovely day with No Hassles!

The tour guide Kris for each city we visited were wonderful. Overall, my experience with China Highlight exceeded my expectations.

Our guide Roy told us many interesting detailes of the ancient life of citizens of Shanghai. He walked with us in modern and old streets and introduced us to every corner of chinese history of this city. Our guide Roy answered all of numerious questions in details, he showed us everything that the city can offer to tourists. He also introduced us to local cuisines, that were very tasty and teleported us to the past! With the help of our guide Roy we slowly and peacefully immersed ourselfs into ancient and modern city of Shanghai! We thank our driver for smooth ride and our guide for days full of interesting stories!

We chose China Highlights and we were delighted that we have Ann as our tour guide. She has extensive local knowledge and made our journey seamlessly. There was no attempt to sell us any products or optional tours and she catered to our needs as we were taking many photographs. She is very organized but yet flexible and she is very passionate about her work.

And all these won’t be possible without our lovely tour guide Ann . She is knowledgeable, passionate,friendly and most supportive and she will go extra miles to ensure our safety / welfare/ comforts. Our guide Daidai was the best. She took care of us like we were her family, paying attention to every little detail to maximize our enjoyment. We miss her already.

In late September 2024, we visited Zhangjiajie, Yuanjiajie, Yangjiajie, Jinbian Stream, Wulongzhai, Baofeng Lake, and Tianzi Mountain. Our guide, Eileen Luo, was both passionate and knowledgeable, enriching our experience with her deep understanding of the history, culture, and local cuisines of the areas we explored. Naturally, the scenic beauty was absolutely stunning!

Our tour guide for Zhangjiajie/Fenghuang/Changsha, Anna Xu, is friendly, approachable & knowledgeable in her field of work. Really have a wonderful time with her guidance throughout the trip.

Visiting Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is a great experience but also come with a little risk of altitude sickness. Our guide Alice has taken good care of us for the whole journey. Truly a memorable trip!

Special mention to Frank. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history and heritage of the area and the visit to the three pagodas was made more interesting with his vivid explanation of meaning of each location. He also helped take excellent photos and brought very fresh fruits (pears and pomegranates) for us to try! Food selection was great and delicious too! Importantly, he carried THREE umbrellas at all times to make sure we were never wet!

We had three adays in Dali with Daisy, a very ambitious tour guide. She speaks perfect English. She is very friendly and always helpful. We recommend Daisy for your tour to Dali. She is perfect.

Suki was our guide during a very enjoyable 3-day visit. Suki has a warm personality and ensured we were relaxed and had fun; she looked after us very well and has very good English.Suki is rightly proud of old Huangshan and on our first night led us on a fascinating walk along Tanxi Old Street, where there were plenty of opportunities to buy good local crafts and produce.

May organized us a perfect journey and Derek was a perfect guide. We liked very much the Lakenheath, the pagoda, the pedestrian Street, the modern center. He took care of us for all our needs and wishes. He was very competent, practical, generous. In other words, perfect!
